The practice was established in 2008 and is attached to and supported by Heywood Rural Health. Currently the practice is open Monday - Wednesday 9am - 5.30pm. The practice has commenced the AGA accreditation process, and is supported by administration and nursing staff from the Rural Health organisation. The community health issues include aboriginal health, aged care, youth care, drug and alcohol, and mental health. Consultant services are available in nearby Portland (26 km), Hamilton (60 km), Warrnambool (95 km) and Mt. Gambier (100 km). | |
